Chef Akis Petretzikis loves cooking! He enjoys experimenting with cooking in front of and behind the camera but also in the pages of his unique books and magazines. He absolutely loves to constantly create new and delicious ideas and combine simple and complex ingredients in his kitchen laboratory as well as in his two amazing shops: Kitchen Lab Café Bistro και το Burger AP – both are a part of a taste lobby in the heart of Agia Paraskevi. Giannis Margaris is Akis Petretzikis’ Executive Chef. He was born in Zakynthos. He left to go to Thessaloniki to pursue culinary studies. When he completed his studies, he worked in some of the best restaurants in Greece further developing his skills. He has worked in 5-star hotels and award-winning restaurants both in Greece as well as abroad. This has helped him become one of the best and most innovative chefs of the country.

Prokopis Kouris was born and raised in Corfu. At 18, he left to pursue culinary studies in Athens.

During his studies, he worked in famous restaurants. After graduating, he worked in 5-star hotels.

He discovered his love for Asian cuisine while working in French bistros and soon he travelled to Asia where he worked in some of the best hotels there like Nusa Dua Resort.

After learning traditional recipes and techniques in Asia, he returned to Greece where he worked as head chef of the Asian restaurant in one of the best hotels in Greece, Elounda Beach Hotel (Leading Hotels Of The World). He worked there for eight years.

Chasing his dream, he opened his own restaurant Κenko Modish Sushi Bar that combines his love for Asian cuisine with his experiences while maintaining its own personal identity.
